Downloading and installing the applications
How to save and consult my data saved on my helixee from my different devices.
Summary of the steps to follow:

- DOWNLOAD THE APPS: Downloading and installing helixee’s apps
- SAVE: Backing up my data from my computer, smartphone or tablet
- VIEW: Connecting to my.helixee.me, to view, share and save my data
1/ INSTALLING MY HELIXEE :
Go to Installation page, click on the green button under 1TB / 2TB or no drive, depending on the helixee you have. Then let yourself be guided by the installation procedure.
Once your helixee is installed, at the end of the helixee setup you will have given:
- A name to your helixee
- An email to connect to your helixee
- Your password
GOOD PRACTICE !
Keep your helixee connected to your internet box to ensure updates as we evolve!
2/ DOWNLOADING THE APPLICATIONS I NEED
Download the application from the application download page.
You must install the helixee application linked to your device:
- Desktop application for your computer
- Mobile application for your smartphone and / or your tablet

The version of the application is located
on Mac / PC: in the menu helixee, click on “about helixee”
on mobile apps / tablet: display the side menu by clicking on the icon menu at the top left.
Under the phrase “connected to…”.
3/ I SAVE MY DATA ON MY HELIXEE FROM MY DEVICES
To backup data stored on your computer (all type of data) :
- Download the desktop app : more info
- Use the Drop Zone on my.helixee.me, plus d’infos
To backup your photos, videos and contacts from your smartphone or tablet :
- Download mobile app : plus d’infos
4/ VIEWING MY DATA SAVED ON MY HELIXEE
- From your computer log onto my.helixee.me
- From your smartphone or your tablet launch the mobile app.
